Wednesday, November 3rd - Session 1.04

The session of congress began with the Pledge of Allegiance, as is dictacted to occur at the start of every session, then led to the establishment of the day's agenda. Some orders of business were left unattended to at the last session such as the moving of issues to committees, one such example being of the proposition to move the concern of lowering costs of college to the Committee of Banking and Urban Affairs. Once this was piece of agenda was established, several new items were added to the agenda, mostly of additional concerns of the American public that needed to be addressed, all of which were moved to committees. The agenda was set, and debate ensued, the motion of speech between speaker and senators moving fairly smoothly. The procedures of Senate regarding the need to be recognized before seconding a motion were brought up, and after some debate no changes were made to procedure. All issues were moved with little opposition or debate to committees, and the session concluded on time. A fairly productive day, overall, that will yield new bills from the committees to be reviewed and possibly passed in the future.
